Doug Bowen-Flynn

Doug Bowen-Flynn, SAG Boston Branch President

I was elected SAG Boston Branch President and National Board First Alternate in 2008, and I have focused on strengthening the Guild through unity - both within our divided ranks and in partnership with our sister unions.  The greatest asset we have as performers both on set and off is our ability to work together towards a common purpose.  When Branch actors, New York actors, Hollywood actors, AFTRA performers, and AEA actors bring that sense of solidarity and common purpose to bear on a national scale, we will have the strength and leverage to organize and bargain successfully and create a secure market and workplace for all performers.

Bill Mootos

Bill Mootos, SAG Boston National Board Director

For six years I served as the SAG Boston Branch President, and as First Alternate to the National Board of Directors. As a National Board Member, I am dedicated to uniting all SAG performers regardless of zip code or which media they work in. This is no time to be elitist over whether one is a commercial performer, recording artist or film actor. The future and relevance of the Guild depends on our ability to stand together in support of each other regardless of our disciplines or where we choose to live and work.

SAG members in the Branches do it all – Film, TV, Video, Commercials and Voice Overs: We are an important part of the landscape of the Guild, and it is essential that our voices be heard. I hope you will support your elected leaders in the RBD who are working tirelessly on behalf of SAG members all over the country.
